This years Paperworld saw Colop launch there latest special edition Colop Printer.The Printer
Special Edition 2011 is made of "Liquid Wood", an innovative and pioneering material. As the term
"Liquid Wood" already implies, this material is an by product of the wood industry. That is to say it
uses liquid wood or if you want to get technical lingin. Or in english the substance trees use to get
cellulose cells together.

Since no oil but wood is the raw material for "Liquid Wood", this material has a very small carbon
footprint; it is simply compostable and thus very sustainable. This marks another step for the rubber stamp industry in there march sustainable products lines.

Rubber Stamps - Find new uses

Rubber stamps have become widely used over the last decade. Previously, rubber stamps were used just in corprate market, but people today have found myriad of uses for rubber stamps, specifically in craft sector. Nowadays, rubber-stamping has become the fastest growing catagory to create all sorts of designs by using rubber stamps. This hobby, (widely referred to as scrap booking) has given the rubber stamp business a whole new lease of life.

Colop Stamps & Microban has joined forces to produce a range of stamps to be called Colop Microban. These stamps combine the experience of Colop's stamp making and Microban antibacterial technology. The new stamp will have an antibacterial coating, this will improve hygiene in the office. The new technology will provide protection from nasties like MRSA, Listeria, E.coli & Salmonella.

This introduces a new direction for the stamp industry and rubber stamps in general.  The range will include Heavy duty & self inking stamp ranges. The antibacterial coating is designed to last for the life of the stamp. More Information To Follow.
