Spring In Action 11 - Chicago may 13 2011

In the neverending search to bring new products to our customers, we visited "Spring into Action 11" hosted by our American partner Craig Peterson in Chicago. We were the only UK represenative. Craig as always presented several new products and new incarnations of products as only he can, (I include a link to one of his you tube videos). Although much that was presented was of great interest, what caught our eye was the PSI 3X Stamper which has 3 text plates in 1, we hope to bring this and other new lines to the UK Shortly.

Rubber Stamps - Cool

Stamp’s have become a common feature in many firms and are becoming more popular as a great hobby. A simple stamp is made of an engraved, carved, or molded sheet of rubber/polymer.You will make an imprint with the ink. Making your own stamp is becoming more and more popular due to its convenience and ease of use.Custom made rubber stamps are normally classified into two categories – custom rubber business stamps and craft stamps. Business stamps are traditional rubber, self-inking stamps, or dater and address stamps; the text of which makes them personalised. When using this kind of stamp you must stamp it up and down on a stamp pad with ink in order to make a crisp impression.

Art and craft stamps are way interesting since various graphics like hand drawn artwork and even craft clip art with alphabets and photographs may be used. They are normally used in making greeting cards and scrapbooks with embossing powder or ink for embossed stamping. Have you in the past searched for rubber stamps of Asian characters? If yes, you’ll know that it’s relatively hard to locate, so why not create your own? Rubber stamp art is limitless – all your stamp ideas can be realized as soon as you begin making stamps at home, so start thinking of creative rubber stamping ideas!

10 Uses for a Rubber Stamp - Daters

Selected daters
What are daters? They are stamps with the date mounted on a barrel so each day you can manually change the date. Typically they are made to cover a 10 year span. Daters come in all shapes, sizes and makes, but can be split in two cataogories self inking (has pad included in stamp) and non self inking. As a sub cataogeries there is also a further choice those that text can be added to and those which just have a date.
